Home away from home…

Is now time to start my holidays.

In a couple of days I’m flying home, finally to see my family and get some nice mom-made homecooking meals. It will be also nice to be on a country where the Sun actually shines.

It will be a while until I come back with news, mostly pictures of how Madeira is looking this days. Since I will only be back after Christmas, let me say to all of you:

Nokia as released the news that the new flagship phone is due to make is appearance.

Dubbed Nokia N97, at first sight might have some resemblances with the Apple’s iPhone.

It has a full qwerty keyboard, folding style like the HTC TyTN or Diamond, a 3.5′ touch display (seems every phone nowadays has one of these), widescreen screen and a maximum of 48GB of memory (32GB onboard plus 16GB with a microSD).

WLan, HSDPA and a 5-Megapixel Carl Zeiss camera also belong to the pack. Nokia targets the shipping date as the first quarter of 2008 (so it may be the 31st of March) with a price tag of 550€, before taxes or subsidies.

In my opinion, it seems to be a great phone, different of the actual N series, that for me are almost all the same in appearance.
