Home away from home…

Well, 8 more hours of work, and then is a 5 day rest If I was back home there would be the carnival to attent, but here the carnival is only in the end of August, so a couple more months of wait.

Also recently I’ve started doing some work on the iPhone: a sound app to generate music tracks. Yes, there are already some on the AppleStore, but is a good way to learn openAL and make something interesting at the same time

EDIT: Just noticed that with the latest version of wordpress you get a nice topbar when you are on the frontend (and logged in) to add new pages, check comments and a couple other things. Really useful

Yesterday I manage, with sucess, replace the broken glass of an iPod touch with a new one.

The process is very easy, altough it takes a bit time. It took me 30m to have everything up and running. The most dificult part is to remove the old screen, which is glued to the frame. Other than that, is fairly easy (remove back cover, remove around 20 screws and that’s it).

I am currently looking for a job as a programmer. PHP, ASPx, Ruby is welcome. Altough my experience on ASPx is less than the others, I’m a fast learner. I also know CSS, Ajax, Web 2.0.

I have preference for work places that are on a radius of 10 miles of London, SW2 3DD.
